ABOUT US
The Royal British Legion Virginia Water Branch is one of the oldest Clubs in the country having been incorporated in 1932 and has always been located at its existing site in the heart of Virginia Water village. Historically the Club was covenanted to ‘provide a Social club for Ex-Servicemen and the residents of Virginia Water’ and this remains true to this day.
We have a purpose-built snooker room with match quality table, and a Pool table is also available. And of course, there is a very comfortable Lounge/Bar where you can simply sit, relax, enjoy a few drinks and a friendly chat.
This room has 2 plasma TVs which can always be used for watching your favourite BT Sport and Sky Sport events. A further TV has been added behind the bar to ensure you don’t miss that all important goal or try!
We also have a lovely, fully enclosed garden with an upgraded smoking shelter incorporating a further outdoor TV for those Summer sporting highlights!
Live entertainment on Saturday nights occur throughout the year and these acts are promoted well in advance both on posters displayed in the club and on this website.
The Lounge Bar Club Room is available for private functions as is the separate Function Room which has recently been completely refurbished together with the installation of a Private Bar if required. It also has a large screen eminently suitable for AV presentations and video.
You will always find a friendly welcome at the club from our staff, members, and Committee. New members are always welcome.
Lastly and for some the most important aspect of the club are our bar prices which are very competitive and are far below ‘Pub’ prices.
